Daily Blogging?

I have been blogging now for nearly three years. I must confess: There are days when I have no idea what to say. There are often times when I wonder if this is really a good way to spend my time. I could be spending this time in prayer or reading from the Word. I like the discipline most of the time. I had really hoped that by now, this would be a place for the exchange of ideas, dialogue, etc. It is OK that it hasn't developed into that, but I am just considering its priority. I am trying to decide if it might be good for me to give it up for a while. Or maybe go to once or twice a week. I think I'll sleep on it.

My friends Jody Adams and Kyle Reeves are leaving today for Mexico. Kyle has made this trip three previous years, and Jody has gone twice. They open up a clinic and do dental work. Kyle works on my teeth, so I know how good a job he will do. Jody? I think I might rather have Jack Bauer approaching my mouth:) This year, they are taking an orthodontist along with them. Let's cover them with prayer as they make this trip.

5 reasons Rick should not stop blogging:
1. It's a way to share your thoughts.
2. It's a way to keep in touch.
3. It's therapeutic for your readers.
4. It gives your readers a glimpse into your mind.
5. I'll come to Texas and beat you up.

DON'T STOP BLOGGING. Though I don't respond daily, I do read it daily. It's part of my routine. You wouldn't want to break my routine, would you?

I face the same question daily. I only have one person who responds to my blog publically but have heard many others read it. I'm often confused on what direction to take it or what to say.

I am wondering if you are sleeping during today to think about it instead of being at the office.

With regards to your brother's comments, I would add that this is a great place to discuss NASCAR if you want to venture more into that sport.

I will add Jody and Kyle to my prayers for a trip that glorifies God and safety in travel.

I too read your blog daily. I enjoy reading some mature thoughts in such a trivial word. Thanks for putting them out there. Amy

Ahemmm...

There is no Thursday blog yet. You can consider not blogging but as we grow impatient and rowdy it is possible we could congregate outside your office or home and start throwing old 3.5" floppy disks at you or worse...sacrificing Titleist Pro-V1's.

This is the fourth time I have checked on your site today and nothing new! I am certain it is lost in cyberspace. I will keep checking!
