Welcome!

It's good to be back in bloggerland. If you are visiting for the 1st time, let me tell you what to expect here. I will try to write a new blog 4 to 5 times a week. Most days it will be sharing some thought about faith or Scripture. I usually try to share from my daily Scripture readings. But right now I'm reading through Leviticus, so I wouldn't want to lose you right away. Other times, I might just reflect on what's going on with my familly or church or events. Still other times, we might just take a poll -- like what is your favorite TV program, football team, etc.

I would love to hear from you, so please share your feedback. I'm not expecting a huge readership right away, so let's begin with something easy. What is your favorite place to eat? For me, it's a tie: Mi Tierra in the Market Square in San Antonio and Landry's Seafood Restaurant.

By the way, I have discovered that you must enter the blog address every day. You can't just click on your address history (you know, when it comes up as you are entering an address). If you do, it will take you to the previous blog, and never allow you to see new ones. I hope this makes sense to you. Sorry, I'm not a computer geek -- just a geek.

Blessings today!

My favorite hamburger joint is the Shell station in Southlake at 1709 and Randoll Mill road. I try to have a "Shellburger" at least once each week.

Joe T Garcia's, hands down anytime. Del Frisco's for special occasions. Babe's for some good 'ol southern fried cookin'. Kinkaid's for a burger but the Greenwood Grocery store is a close second.

Rick, I'm glad you are back doing this again.

The places you all mentioned are decent, but none compared to The Waffle House!!!!

I'm just an eating-out-kind-of-girl! I LOVE Mi Tierra's in San Antonio; I LOVE Anamia's in Southlake! I LOVE Landry's and Pappadeaux too. Are you taking me out this weekend, Mr. Blogger?

i believe Mr. and Mrs. Blogger are meeting the Bloggerlings for lunch Saturday to celebrate 2nd Bloggerling's 25th birthday. So I am hoping that there is a Jack-in-the-Box somewhere between Abilene and Ft. Worth.

OK, I love almost ANYTHING so...
I have two (atleast I will limit my comment to 2) favoites. I LOVE Rosa's on TACO TUESDAY's... it is a "rockin' deal"... $2.99 for 3 tacos, rice, tortillas...FANTASTIC!
NEXT, I love MERCADOS (in TYLER)...
I have only experienced the FABULOUS FOOD one time, but I remember LOVING it! I think I have over ran blog-land limits! Oh well.

I feel as though I have lived a very sheltered life.

Depends.Mexican Food---I have to go with Mi Tierra's...who would pick otherwise? A burger---Dairyette (Dallas' oldest drive-in since the 50's) served with a BIG handdipped chocolate shake. Seafood---literally a hole in the wall place decorated with outboard motors, oars, tackle boxes and every other "fishy" thing you can think of called Hook, Line and Sinker. Italian---Call me sentimental but I'd have to go with the original Old Spaghetti Warehouse since way before it was the West End...sit in the boxcar. Ribs...gotta say Texas Roadhouse because of the rolls and cinnamon butter. Bar-b-Que---Spring Creek again because of the people that come around with hot rolls. Egg Salad Sandwich---Which Wich in Downtown Dallas. Chicken Salad---Jason's Deli with pineapple and almonds on a croissant. Pizza---Hands down would have to say Campisi's. Dessert---too many choices but among them Panera's, Applebee's, The Cheesecake Factory and a little German bakery just outside of Hillsboro. I could go on and on but bottom line, I LOVE to eat out.
