"After his wife wife died, in great pain C. S. Lewis realized, If I had really cared as I though I did about the sorrows of the world, I should not have been so overwhelmed when my own sorrow came."
Auschwitz survivor Viktor Frankl wrote, "Just as a small fire is extinguished by the storm whereas a large fire is enhanced by it, likewise a weak faith is weakened by predicaments and catastrophes whereas a strong faith is strengthened by them."
"The faith that can't be shaken is the faith that has been shaken."

That's good stuff.
Walking with you,
Kyle
Those are some great truths...Your family is ever present in our minds as we go throughout our days. We continue to cry to the Lord on your behalf...begging Him to bring comfort and peace, begging Him to come quickly...
Thank you for continuing to bless in the midst of such heartache...
I also appreciate Frankl's observations for a life of suffering.
I thank you for being a source of strength for me and pray that God will continue to give you all that you need.
What wonderful little treasures to hold onto. They are so true my friend! I loved what you said at the end, "the faith that can't be shaken is the one that has been shaken." Take comfort in the fact that Jesus knows where your heart is hurting and He is more than able to put His hand in the midst of your brokenness in order to author His glory in you!
