I have had nagging sciatica pain for about three years. I have been to doctors -- who have said there is nothing they can do short of surgery. I have been to chiropractors, but gotten no relief.
Last night, at the urging of Beverly, I went to a massage therapist. And at least for this morning, I can definitely tell there is improvement. For the 1st time in several years, I at least have hope that it will get better.

Did you get a manicure and a pedicure while you were at it?
I thought that the only men who get massages were men who engaged in recreational activities like chess and Nascar. :) (Thought I'd toss a comment in there for my Nascar friends on this site)
Just playing. I'm sure the massage felt great.
I work with a guy who is all country Texas, lives to hunt etc, raised in Mineral Wells. Like me he has bad feet as well as a fused ankly. He's had surgery but about the only pain relief he gets is occasional (monthly) foot massage. The massage therapist is a retired USAF colonel.
